Something quite interesting has come to my attention today. Will Pfeifer, writer of such comics as Catwoman and HERO is being torn to pieces on the net after the last issue of the Amazons Attack mini series shipped (which he wrote). Let me say something here real quick: I didn't really enjoy the mini series that much. There, now that that's done, let me say something more important.......
The responses that Pfeifer has gotten on his blog have been nothing less than despicable. Apparently, Pfeifer has destroyed/raped/pillaged/blown up the character of Wonder Woman. Check out this response from a guy who calls himself Walter.......

I wrote some posts in your blog before. Now, after issue 6, I can say it without doubt:
"Amazons Attack" is the most damaging, worst Wonder Woman story ever.
I wouldn't mind so much if it was just a bad story, we are used to that, but I don't think you are even aware about how much damage you did to the character.
Believe me, it's not just me talking, you basically enraged the WW "community", to call it something.
Have a look for yourself, don't be shy
Bravo Walter. You can sit behind your computer screen at home and bash Mr. Pfeifer. You are obviously a wonderful comic book writer yourself, and you most definitely could have fixed this editorial mandated story.
Here's the deal folks. This story wasn't bad because of Will Pfeifer or Pete Woods, or any other part of the creative team.
DC Comics stuck these guys with this story, and they basically had to ride out the storm. Was it a disappointing story? I think so, yes. Was it Will Pfeifer's fault. Hell no! Pfeifer has proven time and again that he is a very good writer, and this one stinker which was thrust on him by Dan Didio shouldn't be used against him.
Go read Pfeifer's Catwoman issues, or his HERO stuff if you want to see what this guy can do.
You want to criticize the story? Go ahead. But if you actually plan on being stupid enough to bash Pfeifer, than at least use your full name. Own up to the crap you're slinging.
